Owner Savannah Kersten was shopping for her pregnant sister when she found this store - and it was on sale. "I always wanted to own my own business and this was a great place to do it," she explains. "We are very customer oriented.  We make sure everyone is greeted when they walk in the door and we sell a wide variety of kids items."

Beginning 20 years ago as a breast pump rental station, manager Martha Pehl expanded the offering to include everything new breastfeeding moms might need. They offer a wide variety of help for new moms before they go home or when they come back in need of breastfeeding assistance.

When owner Megan Reinersten moved from Mexico to Colorado, she was surprised that there were no local cloth diapering stores. Online shopping was overwhelming so she started selling out of her house 7 years ago and expanded from there. Now they are the only natural parenting store in town, with the next closest options 4 hours away.

With 5 children of her own, Megan carries the products she uses at home in her store - including Itzy Ritzy!

Beate opened Droplets a year and a half ago out of her passion for recycling and community.

The boutique carries a kiss of consignment, made in Hawaii products from about 35 local artisans, and most-requested items from the mainland. Beate's top Itzy Ritzy picks are the Snack Happens Reusable Snack and Everything Bags which she features in her front store window for Earth Day and Back to School.

MilkWorks, a non-profit community breastfeeding center, was started in 2001 by a small group of mothers who all worked in maternal child health. MilkWorks is committed to providing breastfeeding help to all families, regardless of their ability to pay.  Many of their educational and clinical services are offered at no cost or reduced fees.

Early on many parents would ask MilkWorks to provide other baby related items, and Babyworks Boutique was born. Retail team member Lori Sohl says their mission is, "creating a healthier community by helping mothers breastfeed their babies."

The staff loves the food-grade and dishwasher safe Teething Happens™ Chewable Mom Jewelry line and the design and vibrant colors of the Nursing Happens Infinity Breastfeeding Scarves.
